The goal of this Challenge is to support the enhancement of digital capabilities for small and medium-sized enterprises operating in both Czech and international markets. This is achieved by facilitating the purchase and implementation of advanced non-manufacturing digital technologies. These technologies help the company make a significant digital leap—through automation support, data digitalization, and more efficient integration and management of business processes.
 

The activities under this Challenge are tied to the strategic objective “D – Increased Use of New Technologies and Digitalization” outlined in the National RIS3 Strategy. The focus of the Challenge aligns with the specific objective “D01 – Support for Digitalization and Use of New Technologies in Business,” directly contributing to its fulfillment. It involves the digital transformation of enterprises through the adoption of new or implemented technologies and services that lead to higher automation, digitalization, and more efficient integration of business processes. Digitalization is defined here as the adoption of technologies operated via electronic devices or systems that enhance product functionality, develop online services, modernize procedures, or enable business models that bypass intermediaries in production and service delivery—ultimately resulting in a transformative impact.
